Chris, only just back from Barcelona today, had a great time. Many thanks for the tickets - saw two great goals & really savoured the atmosphere of a La Liga game and would definitely go back. We would use Senor Stag again if we make it to another city in the near future - big Liverpool fan so hopefully a Champions League game next season could be on the cards. Thanks for your help.
Steve from Ballyclare

Indoor Go Karting
 |
Your group will be picked up outside your hotel by your Senor Stag guide, and taken by coach or minibus to the indoor go karting track outside Madrid. The track is one of the finest you'll find anywhere, an amazing feat of design, with a full 500m track. The cars can reach 70KM/H and have petrol engines.
The track includes a starting grid, a long full-throttle section, and numerous hairpins and chicanes. From the upstairs bar you can relax while your guide sorts out the insurance forms and race times. You'll need to think of your racing nickname, as this name comes up on the electronic scoreboard once you start racing. Then after a safety briefing, changing into full racing overalls and helmet, and storing your valuables in a secure locker, it's race time! |
You file out of the pits area in your 270 cc kart, and you have 10 minutes of racing to beat your mates round the track and go all-out for the fastest track time. (The Senor Stag record currently stands at 38.54 seconds). After a break of 10 minutes to rest your arms and re-hydrate after all that hard cornering, you're back on again for 10 minutes. At the end, the detailed timesheet printout will show the winner, and then it's time for a well deserved beer or two back in town.
For insurance purposes, it's obligatory to bring your passports, and they won't let you race with sandals. Also, please do not turn up drunk as you will not be allowed to race - this is an activity that requires quick responses and good judgement. |

Senor Stag's Suggestion:
Mornings are a very bad idea for booking this activity. After getting in to your hotel room in the early hours, the last thing you want to do is go karting after only 3 or 4 hours of sleep. By racing in the afternoon, you'll appreciate the racing experience so much more with a few more hours sleep and recovery under your belt.
